Local Shops is a free application that enables you to search for, find information about, and follow local businesses and landmarks of interest to you. View photos and featured products, and find special offers from merchants. Free to merchants to claim and update business listings and post offers and featured products.

Search by location:

• Find nearby businesses and landmarks using your phone's location data, or select another location to find out more about someplace you're planning to visit.

Special Offers:

• Search for and bookmark special offers and deals available at shops near you.

Featured Products:

• Browse and view a shop's featured products, and vote them up or down.

Photos:

• Find out more about a location by browsing photos.

Call or get directions:

• Map directions from wherever you are, or initiate a call with just one click.

Bookmark favorite places:

• No need to enter your favorite pizza joints or other places you frequent in your address book. Instead, just bookmark them as favorites and let Local Shops keep track of them for you.

Ideal for travel:

• Search for places anywhere around the world

• Save frequently-used search areas if you expect to visit a location often.

Local Shops requires iPhone OS 3.1. It also requires an internet connection. Telephone calling only works on the iPhone. You'll need to sign up for a user account to use Local Shops, which is free and simple to do!
