Useful databases are essential for people working for the automotive industry, e.g. In case of auto mechanics or designing engineers.
The majority of system testers (scanners) usually give the underlying content, the 'solution' of error codes read out by them, regarding general (E)OBD error codes. Most of them tells it only in a few words. They only seldom give the meaning of the type-specific error codes as well.
That's why you have to search in complex systems of expensive databases, to find out the meaning of an error code, or you have to browse the Internet for hours, until we find a three-letter expression in professional materials. .

The aCode collection of abbreviations is multilingual. (English-German-Hungarian). Its database increasing for 12 years, contains abbreviations and their meaning used in the automotive industry. In addition to these abbreviations, manufacturer codes used in Volkswagen models can be also found.
What does the update bring?
aCode will be completed with a technical dictionary of the automotive industry, which will be available in Hungarian, French, German, Rumanian and English.
The collection of abbreviation is always up-to-date, it is being continuously increased, as with the introduction of new technologies, new abbreviations are being created.
