SAS Music presents YOU Sing It!, an entertainment application that puts YOU in the spotlight. Each month we'll show you songs of the Top 20 artists from a combination of the iTunes charts, radio plays, MP3 downloads,and other sources. We'll also include a few Indies, some Country, a bit of Classical, and a few surprises; a total of 40 tracks each month. You'll be able to sample each track and buy one from the iTunes store, if you like.

The really fun part is YOU. We want you to create a video of your version of any song by any artist on the list and upload it to YouTube. Then you'll send us an e-mail to let us know it's there. We'll take a look and the best 40 videos will be chosen to showcase in the App. The viewers of You Sing It! will vote for their favorite video and a winner will be announced each month. Only one vote per month will be allowed per viewer. The winner will receive a $100 Gift Certificate for iTunes and will remain showcased on the app throughout the year.

Your video can be a parody, a serious attempt to sing the song well, a way to show off a new arrangement or style for the song, a lip-sync, or anything in between. Your video production can be simple or an elaborate extravaganza with costumes and scenery. The video may contain one person or you and your friends. We just want you to have fun and give you a chance to show the world what you can do. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. All contest information may be obtained at www.sasMusicAndMore.com. Anyone,from any country that has access to YouTube and iTunes may enter. The contest is void where prohibited by law.

You may submit as many videos as you choose. On May 5, 2012 a Grand Prize winner will be announced and receive a special prize. The Grand Prize winner will be the person who submits one or more videos throughout the year and gets the most votes for the year. The Grand Prize winner will be determined solely on the basis of the total number of votes received from the date of release of the app through April 30, 2012.

You Sing It! will also contain short biographies and tour dates (if any) for the 40 artists chosen each month, links to books by or about the artists, and links to buy tickets for their shows.

So pick up your video camera, choose an artist, and have fun while YOU Sing It!
